The Most Googled Designers Of 2015

Google has released its annual trend report and the list of most searched designers on Google in 2015. Raf Simons, who made an unexpected exit from Dior, tops the list with the help of this breaking news and the mentions of him in a couple of rap tracks. However, the name in the second spot is interesting and unexpected. The ex-girfriend of Jerry Seinfeld, who has her own swimwear label Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss made it to number two. While the followers in the top six are Giambattista Valli, Thakoon Panichgul, Tadashi Shoji and Elie Saab, respectively; the iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld, made it to number seven. He was followed by Christian Lacroix, Zuhair Murad and Tommy Hilfiger. Apparently, the trend is to google the designers of the dresses we see on the red carpets, rather than the designers of the iconic fashion houses.
